With our new tiny digicam set on manual and macro, and a new on-the-cheap daylight fluorescent light kit, I've captured some some pretty sexy photos of some of my sexier cameras...
Pictured: Contax 139Q with new light seals and leather covering, new leather strap, minty Carl Zeiss Planar 50mm f1/4 lens, and original front cap.
My profile photo was shot by my girlfriend, Anne Bowerman (anniebee.posterous.com) on a Polaroid SX-70 with modern 600 film and a light-reducing pack filter.
We are part of Save Polaroid (link on the right) and are actively encouraging anyone who wishes to see Polaroid film continue to buy a camera, buy some film and get shooting.
Who knows - maybe you can capture a moment like this. It's by far the best image ever made of my non-photogenic mug. It was made out of many kinds of love. And it's now a permanent object in the world, not a series of ones and zeros on a hard drive...

Flickr is almost certainly the best photo management and sharing application in the world. If you'd like to see what I use it for you can check out my profile page or browse my photostream.
