I've been waiting patiently for Vimeo to get up to speed and start supplying good solid stuff to watch. I have never been a YouTube fan - mostly because it's terribly ugly and the people who comment on videos turn my stomach, for the most part, and make me feel very cynical about the human race. Vimeo is simply designed, if a little cutesy, and it's embedded player is both much prettier and more functional than YouTube's. Oh - and so far, I haven't seen Google ads in Vimeo videos...
Dig into the entire series - it's good stuff... And although his articles are directed at web designers and programmers, just about anyone who's ever had a job can find some parallels.
I'm probably going to have to start adding ones and fives to my change jar - or maybe sell my liver - to afford this... But as a long-time Voigtlander fan and owner and user of the original Voigtlander Bessa rangefinder from the 30's, this drool-inspiring rig is nothing short of a must-have.
